HOW TO GET TO CEUTA?
CEUTA PORT (Main entrance)
This is the most common route. Ferries depart from Algeciras and arrive directly at the port of Ceuta. The crossing takes approximately one hour by Fast Ferry.
This is the option we recommend for all our guests.
CEUTA HELIPORT
Located in the port area, very close to the city centre. There are connections with Málaga (35 min) and Algeciras (7 min). This is a particularly convenient option for international guests arriving in Málaga.
EL TARAJAL BORDER CROSSING
This is the land crossing between Morocco and Ceuta. It is the best option for guests arriving from Tetouan, Tangier, northern Morocco and surrounding areas.
HOW TO GET AROUND CEUTA?
Once you arrive in Ceuta, getting around is relatively easy. The city is small and many areas can be explored on foot.
There is also a public bus network with 11 urban bus routes.

A great option for tapas, a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner. Located in the city centre, it is perfect for combining a meal with a walk around the city.
Located in the Marina, it is a great spot for a drink by the sea. The relaxed atmosphere makes it especially enjoyable for an evening drink.
D'ARMANDO
A relaxed option right in the heart of Ceuta.
Perfect for those looking for a simple lunch or dinner without too much formality.
LUZ Y BRASA
A great choice for a slightly more special dinner, with a contemporary and relaxed atmosphere.
EL PESCAITO FRITO
If you would like to try one of the most traditional flavors of the Andalusian coast, this is a great place to enjoy "pescaíto frito" and seafood.
Place to visit
LAS MURALLES REALES
Without a doubt, one of the must-see sights in Ceuta. This impressive defensive complex runs through the city and is accompanied by the spectacular Foso Real.
PLAZA DE ÁFRICA Y SANTUARIO
Plaza de África is one of the city's most iconic landmarks. it is home to some of Ceuta's most important historic building, including the Santuario de Santa Maria de África, Ceuta Cathedral and the Palacio Autonómico.
ERMITA DE SAN ANTONIO Y MONTE HACHO
The climb up monte Hacho is particularly worthwhile for the views. The small Hermitage of San Antonio, located next to the viewpoint, offers beautiful panoramic views over Ceuta, the Straits of Gibraltar and, on clear days, the African coast. (You can combine this visit with lunch or dinner at Oasis, located in the same area)
PUERTA CALIFAL
One of the city's historic gates and a remarkable surviving feature from
Ceuta's medieval Islamic period.
BASÍLICA TARDORROMANA
We recommend visiting the archaeological remains of this ancient Christian basilica dating back to the 4th century.
MURALLAS REALES
An impressive defensive complex crossing the city and offering unique views over the Strait of Gibraltar.
HINDU TEMPLE
A unique place that reflects Ceuta's cultural and religious diversity.
Built in 2007, it is one of Spain's most distinctive Hindu Temple and a symbol of the coexistence of the different communities that make up the city.
Things to do
PLAYA DE LA RIBERA
One of Ceuta's most central beaches, just a few minutes' walk from the city centre. Its waters are usually calm, making it a convenient option for anyone looking to enjoy a swim without travelling too far.
BOARD TRIP - EL DESNARIGADO
One of the best ways to discover Ceuta is from the sea. The boat trip towards El Desnarigado allows you to enjoy the coastline from a completely different perspective, passing some of the most beautiful and natural areas along the Ceuta coast. The historic Castillo del Desnarigado is also located in this area.
KAYAK TOUR
For the more adventurous, kayaking is a fantastic way to explore Ceuta's coastline.
One of the most interesting routes takes you through the area around the Foso de las Murallas Reales, offering a completely different perspective of the fortifications from the water.
